Senior Sales - Back Office Software (Banks)

We’re looking for a senior enterprise sales professional who understands how back-office and operational technology is actually bought - not just positioned.
This is a role for someone who has spent time selling into:
- Finance functions
- Operations teams
- Data and control environments
And knows how to navigate the internal dynamics that come with it.
THE ROLE
Joining a high-growth financial technology business, you will take ownership of enterprise sales across the UK and European market. You’ll be selling a modern platform focused on operational efficiency, financial control, and data integrity into banks, asset managers, and financial institutions.
These are complex, high-value deals - often driven by internal transformation, regulatory pressure, and the need to modernise legacy infrastructure.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
• Driving new logo acquisition and strategic account growth across financial services
• Leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from early engagement through to close
• Engaging with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Risk, and Technology (CFO, COO, Head of Operations, Data, Finance)
• Building pipeline through targeted, insight-led engagement — not reactive RFP response
• Positioning the platform against legacy systems, manual processes, and internal solutions
• Contributing to go-to-market strategy based on client insight and evolving operational challenges
• Representing the business across industry events and client forums
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 8+ years enterprise software sales experience within financial services
• Strong track record selling back-office, operations, or financial control technology
• Understanding of finance, operations, or data environments within banks or asset managers
• Experience selling SaaS / cloud-based solutions into regulated organisations
• Proven ability to close complex, high-value, multi-year deals
• Credibility engaging with both technical and operational stakeholders
• Existing network across UK financial services
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
• Experience selling into finance transformation or operations modernisation programmes
• Exposure to data management, control frameworks, or process automation
• Understanding of legacy infrastructure challenges within financial institutions
• Experience navigating regulated environments and compliance-driven buying cycles
LOCATION
London (hybrid working)
