Trading Technology Pre-Sales Specialist (FIX / APIs)
We’re looking for a Pre-Sales Specialist with strong trading technology experience to support client engagements across buy-side and sell-side institutions.
You’ll sit at the intersection of technology, markets, and client strategy, working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to articulate complex solutions — particularly around FIX connectivity and API-based integrations.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you’ll help shape how leading financial institutions adopt modern trading infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with sales to drive technical pre-sales engagements across EMEA
- Lead client workshops, demos, and solution design sessions
- Translate client requirements into technical architectures and workflows
- Support RFPs, proposals, and proof-of-concepts
- Act as a subject matter expert on:
- FIX protocol workflows (order routing, execution, post-trade)
- REST / WebSocket APIs for trading and data integration
- Work closely with product and engineering to feed back client needs
- Support onboarding and early-stage client implementations
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in trading technology / capital markets
- Hands-on knowledge of the FIX Protocol
- Experience working with RESTful APIs (design, integration, troubleshooting)
- Understanding of:
- OMS / EMS workflows
- Market connectivity and execution flows
- Asset classes (equities, FX, fixed income, or derivatives)
- Previous experience in:
- Pre-sales / solutions engineering, or
- Trading support / implementation moving into client-facing roles
- Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
