JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a technical, execution-focused business development professional to grow strategic accounts and partner/consultant relationships, positioning Ipsotek’s AI video analytics platform in high-value markets. This includes managing key accounts, driving new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate blends commercial drive with technical credibility, and operates with strong CRM/pipeline discipline.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own a defined set of strategic accounts and drive account plans, stakeholder mapping, and weekly engagement cadence.
- Identify and convert new opportunities with consultants, system integrators, and key enterprise stakeholders.
- Deliver high‐impact demos and discovery sessions, showcasing how Ipsotek’s AI platform solves real business and operational problems.
- Lead discovery conversations, qualify problems, and translate technical capability into clear commercial value.
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene: pipeline accuracy, next steps, close plans, and activity tracking.
- Coordinate internal resources (pre-sales/engineering/product) to progress technical evaluations and proposals.
- Build influence with key partners and consultants; deliver clear enablement messaging and “why Ipsotek” narratives.
- Stay up to date with AI and Computer Vision advancements, understanding how new capabilities change competitive positioning and customer value.
SKILLS
REQUIRED:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in B2B software sales, consultancy, or similar client‐facing roles, with a strong background in both CAPEX and OPEX commercial models.
- High technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand complex platforms, evolving product roadmaps, and modern AI‐driven software architectures. Able to translate technical capability into clear business value.
- Fluency in AI and modern tooling: comfortable discussing AI/ML concepts, real‐world analytics use cases, and working with contemporary tools such as GenAI assistants, cloud platforms, and workflow automation technologies.
- Experience with long‐cycle, consultative sales processes involving multi‐stakeholder environments (C‐suite, Security, Safety, Operations, BI).
- Demonstrated ability to progress and close complex, solution‐led deals, particularly where technical validation plays a central role.
- Strong presenter and communicator, capable of delivering product demos, workshops, technical discovery sessions, and value‐based narratives to both technical and non‐technical audiences.
- Proactive learner with a growth mindset — comfortable operating in rapidly evolving technology landscapes and keeping up with continuous product innovation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; structured approach to follow‐up and documentation.
- Proven track record of pipeline generation across multiple industry verticals, supported by disciplined CRM usage and data‐driven sales management.
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical requirements.
- High level of professionalism in client‐facing environments, representing Ipsotek with confidence, accuracy, and technical credibility.
- Proficiency in modern productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms, video collaboration, digital workflow tools).
DESIRABLE:
- Understanding of AI-driven surveillance solutions (e.g., Computer Vision, Facial Recognition, Video Analytics).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and compliance in surveillance tech.
- Knowledge of system integration with VMS, PSIM, Telco, and Hyperscaler/Cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of typical system architectures deployed in surveillance (bare metal, hypervisors, VM clusters, containers, etc.).
CONDITIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
- Must own a vehicle and have the right to drive in UK.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, training, and international team sessions
- Field‐based role with flexible working hours depending on customer and project needs.
