About the role…
As a Junior Software Developer, you will support the development and enhancement of products and features within the Ipsum Software Stack, working closely with experienced engineers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
This role offers a great opportunity to build your technical skills and gain hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle, from understanding requirements to deployment and continuous improvement. You will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, contributing to meaningful projects while developing your knowledge and progressing your career in software development.
As a Junior Software Developer you will…
- Assist in coding, testing, and maintaining PHP applications
- Collaborate with team members to deliver project goals and improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the codebase
- Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to enhance quality
- Support the integration of third-party APIs and services
- Contribute documentation and continuous improvement of development practices
About you…
You will ideally hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and have a basic understanding of PHP (preferably Laravel) alongside core web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with databases, SQL, and common development tools is desirable. You will bring strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a genuine eagerness to learn and develop new technical capabilities. A keen eye for detail, commitment to producing high-quality work, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential for success in this role.
