About the role...
As a Survey Data Team Leader, you will lead a specialist team responsible for processing survey and asset data accurately and efficiently while ensuring client requirements are met. Reporting to the Technical Coordinator, you will oversee data validation, reporting, GIS and CCTV data management, while supporting continuous improvement and team development.
- Lead and support a Survey Data team
- Manage the receipt, processing and delivery of survey data
- Monitor workflows and maintain project records
- Prepare reports and client deliverables
- Use Excel, GIS, CCTV and asset management systems
- Conduct data validation and quality assurance checks
- Investigate and resolve data anomalies
- Support planning, scheduling and documentation activities
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes
About you...
We're looking for an organised and analytical leader with experience managing survey, asset or operational data.
- Experience in data analysis and data management
- Knowledge of CCTV data and asset management systems
- Understanding of OS19X and OS21X survey standards
- Advanced GIS skills, including MapInfo and InfoNet
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with maps, plans and asset data
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Level 3 IT qualification and/or ILM qualification desirable
