This role will play a key role in the design and implementation of the Iress People strategy and people plan, ensuring Iress is positioned as an employer of choice able to attract, develop and retain great talent. You will work as part of the wider UK and Global People team, supporting the development and rollout of global initiatives to drive continued employee engagement.Building effective relationships with key stakeholders in the business, you will coach and support leaders in order to develop a culture that supports the business strategy. You will apply your HR expertise and commercial understanding to effectively and proactively partner identified business areas, providing independent support and guidance at all levels. Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with: Act as a trusted partner to identified business stakeholders Take a lead role on key projects and initiatives, both at a local and global level Support and lead on organisational change programmes (to include organisational design, cultural change, mergers and acquisitions, talent management) ensuring legislative compliance Deal with complex employee relations issues Personally act as 'change agent', developing and influencing a network of relationships to help achieve business objectives Proactively analyse and identify trends in data to inform future planning Support in the continuous improvement of the function Provide effective leadership, support and mentorship to other members of the People team Ensure sharing of best practice across the team, both within and across region Develop and implement business action plans in response to regular engagement surveys Develop and maintain a sound commercial understanding of the markets, strategies and operations within which the business operates Deliver and support 'BAU' activities as required by the business and HR such as the annual remuneration review process Partner designated stakeholders to deliver annual people resource plans, ensuring appropriate engagement with wider People team to collaborate on plans where relevant What you will bring: A strong commercial understanding and experience of applying existing HR expertise within a complex business environment Strong consultative skills - the ability to challenge and put forward new ideas Strong relationship building skills Effective stakeholder engagement and management capability with strong influencing skills at all levels A breadth of knowledge and interest across a number of different HR expertise areas, such as organisational development and change management, employee relations, acquisition & transition, engagement, talent management, performance management, and succession planning Clear commercial mind-set and focus Be bold and pragmatic and have the ability to take calculated risks within the law Ability to coach employees at all levels Ability to define and implement appropriate HR strategies and drive key initiatives to completion. Experience of coaching and developing key stakeholders.
