Senior Systems Analyst (Totalmobile, Civica, and MRI)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join the Digital team, acting as a technical lead across key housing systems. This role will play a critical part in supporting and enhancing existing platforms while contributing to ongoing digital transformation within the Housing function.

Experience within a local government Housing environment is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead for core housing systems, providing specialist expertise and guidance to the wider team
  • Translate business requirements from Project Managers and Business Analysts into effective technical solutions
  • Configure, implement, and optimise existing systems including Totalmobile (Connect, Mobilise), Civica (Keystone), and MRI (Orchard Enterprise and Assets)
  • Support the implementation of new modules and system processes, ensuring best practice is followed
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver user-focused system improvements and change initiatives
  • Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to team members to enhance overall capability
  • Work across both on-premise and SaaS platforms, with involvement in Front End and Back End systems where applicable
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and support project delivery to ensure timelines and objectives are met
  • Contribute to system migration and integration activities, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working with IT business systems in a technical or systems analyst capacity
  • Strong experience with housing systems such as Totalmobile, Civica Keystone, and MRI Orchard (highly desirable)
  • Experience working within local government, ideally within Housing
  • Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Strong understanding of system integrations and data migrations
  • Experience working with both on-premise and SaaS environments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Progress OpenEdge databases (desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience working in a digitally transforming environment
  • Understanding of housing sector processes and systems
  • Experience working with external vendors and third-party suppliers
