Algorithm Architect
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Algorithm Architect to join our overseas e-commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering architecture and development of recommendation algorithms and other core algorithms, driving improvements in algorithm development efficiency and system performance. You will work at the intersection of large‐scale systems, real‐time data, and machine learning, ensuring our algorithms are robust, scalable, and production‐ready.
What You'll Do
- Algorithm Engineering & Architecture Design
- Design and develop the engineering architecture for recommendation and other algorithmic services in our overseas e‐commerce scenarios.
- Optimize system performance and improve the efficiency of algorithm development and iteration.
2.Microservices & Model Deployment
- Develop and deploy microservices, implement model inference acceleration, and build online strategy logic to meet diverse business requirements.
- Ensure high availability, low latency, and scalability of production services.
- Real‐time Data & Feature Management
- Build and manage real‐time data pipelines, feature development, and feature stores.
- Contribute to the development and adoption of internal platforms for feature management, model governance, and related tooling.
4.Problem Solving & System Optimization
- Quickly diagnose and resolve algorithmic and system issues in production environments.
- Continuously monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‐on experience in algorithm engineering or algorithm architecture roles.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of Python, Java, or C++.
- Solid understanding of microservice development, model inference acceleration, real‐time data processing, and big data technologies (e.g., Flink, Kafka, Spark).
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving abilities, with a track record of quickly identifying and resolving technical issues in production.
