Job Title: Product Manager – Insurance & Extended Warranty Services

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager for Insurance & Extended Warranty Services to lead the planning, product design, and full lifecycle management of insurance-related services across multiple product categories. This role focuses on building a competitive and customer-centric insurance ecosystem within Joybuy (by JD.com) European e-commerce platform, driving both user satisfaction and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for insurance and extended warranty services, from strategy and market research to product design, launch, and post-launch optimisation.
  • Design and develop innovative service offerings across consumer electronics, home appliances, and other categories, defining pricing, coverage, and fulfilment processes in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Manage operational performance post-launch, including procurement and sales coordination, service process refinement, promotional activities, fulfilment support, and issue resolution.
  • Leverage customer and partner insights to continuously improve service design, strengthen customer experience, and enhance Joybuy’s overall service competitiveness.
  • Work closely with tech, legal, and commercial teams to ensure compliance, scalability, and seamless integration of insurance services into the platform ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in product management, insurance/warranty product design, or e-commerce service operations.
  • Solid understanding of insurance or after-sales value-added services, particularly within consumer electronics or home appliance sectors.
  • Strong user-first mindset, data-driven decision-making, and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
  • Results-driven, resilient under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-evolving, cross-border e-commerce environment.
