Job Title: Part time & Remote Administration & Database Assistant

Contract: Temporary, 2 months, part-time 17.5 hours per week

Location: Fully remote, with one in-person interview required (London)

Rate: 15-18 per hour

About the Role

We're looking for an organised, detail-focused Administration and Database Assistant to join a not-for-profit membership organisation for a 2-month project. You'll be supporting the delivery of online assessments and eLearning content, coordinating schedules, maintaining accurate records, and providing day-to-day admin support to a small team.

This is a fully remote role, apart from one in-person interview. It would suit someone who's comfortable working independently, confident with Excel, and has experience in an administrative or database-support capacity, ideally within life sciences, medical, medical education, an exam board, pharmacology, or the NHS.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Scheduling and coordinating online exam/assessment events, including maintaining accurate delivery timelines
  • Keeping records and databases up to date, and logging customer/candidate interactions accurately
  • Supporting larger projects, tracking actions from meetings and following up to ensure they're completed
  • Preparing agendas, papers, and minutes for internal meetings and committees as needed
  • Helping to set up new administrative processes where gaps are identified
  • Liaising with subject matter experts and internal teams to keep content/project timelines on track
  • Flagging and logging any platform or content issues promptly to the right people
  • General administrative support across the team as required

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in an administration or database assistant role, ideally within life sciences, medical, medical education, an exam board, pharmacology, or the NHS
  • Strong Excel skills, comfortable filtering data
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Confident managing your own workload and communicating proactively while working remotely
  • Comfortable liaising with a range of stakeholders, from internal teams to external contacts
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus, but not essential
