Business Data Analyst, Investment Operations, Power BI & Dashboards , 12 Month FTC

The Company:

An established and widely known Wealth Management firm.

The Role:

The Business Data Analyst will work with the Investment Operations and Custodian Services business teams to drive technological, regulatory and business improvements across the Investment Operations department.

The Business Data Analyst will produce meaningful and accurate MI reports and KPIs that are well-presented, contribute to Custodian Services policy and procedural reviews, with a view to achieving improved investment operational efficiency, regulatory or audit compliance.

The Business Data Analyst will work with large data sets and visualisations tools, to provide data analytical support across the Investment Operations and Custodian department to keep pace with the changing environment. Produce MI Reports to support the planning and delivery of projects such as implementing new functionality or Investment Operations systems or enhancing existing processes.

The Business Data Analyst will build strong working relationships with all key Custodian Services stakeholders (the Front Office, IT, Compliance, Risk etc.)

The Candidate:

MUST HAVE Data Analyst experience ideally within Financial Services Operations

Advanced Excel (specific experience with data analysis)

Experience with BI visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)

SQL is desirable, or a willingness to learn

Wealth management and/or Financial Services experience, gained within an Investment Operations support environment

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, validate and draw conclusions from large numerical data sets
