Program Manager
Programme Manager – 3 months - London £550-600pd (inside IR35)
We are currently working with a public sector body that is actively recruiting for a Programme Manager to join them on an initial 3-month contract.
The role will be leading on a regulatory-focused programme of work.
Responsibilities:
- Developing the strategy, planning and delivery of a high-value programme
- Understanding outcomes and benefits required by senior stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring these are effectively delivered
- Leading a multi-discipline delivery team with people from across business analysis, IT and finance
- Writing and updating delivery plans, ensuring budget, risk and dependency issues are managed
- Ensure a high level of programme governance
- Driving project performance and managing project risk
- Effectively leading and coaching the programme delivery team
- Ensuring a high level of efficiency and identifying areas to reduce cost where possible
Key Skills and experience:
- Experience in similar business-facing Programme or Senior Project Management
- A proven track record of delivering high-value programmes in public sector organisations
- Knowledge and experience with project management methodologies, including Prince2 and Agile
- The ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong budgeting and reporting skills
