As an Asset & Wealth Management Index Data Owner, VP in the Index Product Team, you will execute critical data management activities that support strategic business and product objectives. You will ensure data is well-understood, documented, and effectively utilized across the organization. You will partner with stakeholders to manage data quality, governance, and risk, while fostering strong relationships with data delivery partners and consumers. Your leadership will help drive innovation and maintain high standards for data integrity and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute data management and data risk responsibilities across the entire data lifecycle
Ensure responsible use, sharing, and protection of data, maintaining quality and reliabilityDefine, describe, and register data products and offerings for accessibility and complianceLeverage authorized data sources and integrate best practices into the product development lifecycleDevelop and provide subject matter expertise on index and benchmarks data contentIdentify and prioritize critical data, ensuring thorough documentation and classificationRegister and maintain data sets in catalog tools for consumption across the businessCollaborate with product, technology, and business stakeholders to champion data needs and strategiesPromote data literacy and a data-driven culture within the teamMonitor and address data risks, ensuring compliance with firmwide policies and standardsIdentify opportunities to leverage AI tools and alternate index providers for competitive advantage

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • BachelorâÃà ́s degree in a relevant field
Expertise in business or product data management and processesExperience managing delivery across multiple workstreams with varying prioritiesAbility to drive strategic changes and deliver results in a dynamic environmentStrong partnership and influencing skills across diverse teams and functionsExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearlyTechnical understanding of data management, governance, and cloud-based data platformsKnowledge of product development and Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with index innovation strategies in Asset & Wealth Management
Familiarity with data catalog tools and metadata managementExposure to AI-accelerated product development processesExperience supporting business and commercial strategies with data insightsUnderstanding of regulatory requirements related to financial dataAbility to promote and embed data literacy within teamsExperience collaborating with Chief Data Office or similar governance functions
