As a Lead Software Engineer in Corporate Technology, you will play a key role on an agile team dedicated to building secure, stable, and scalable technology solutions. You will contribute your technical expertise across multiple areas, supporting the firm's business objectives. Job Responsibilities:
Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond routine approaches to solve complex problemsDevelop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by othersDrive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes, while establishing consistent validation standards and promoting reuse of effective patternsApply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to maximize automation valueIdentify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stabilityLead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for existing systemsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience (follow local country guidance as applicable)Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced proficiency in one or more programming languagesDemonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and securityStrong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoptionProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and securityIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systemsPractical cloud native experiencePreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Experience mentoring and developing engineering talentFamiliarity with modern DevOps practices and toolsExposure to large-scale distributed systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesJ.P.
