Senior Category Manager - Technology

A financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Technology Category Manager to support major digital and operational transformation programmes across the region. This role will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management across core technology spend areas, helping to optimise value, manage risk, and enable innovation.

• Lead sourcing and negotiation across IT categories including software, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity and digital platforms.
• Build and execute category strategies aligned to business, regulatory and security requirements.
• Manage relationships with major global technology vendors and drive supplier performance.
• Support digital transformation, cloud-first programmes and systems modernisation.
• Drive measurable commercial value, cost optimisation and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Ensure strong governance, contract management, risk controls and regulatory compliance.

To be considered:

• Deep IT / Technology category experience within financial services.
• Proven negotiation and delivery success with large enterprise technology suppliers.
• Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of third-party risk, data privacy, security and regulatory frameworks including FCA, PRA, DORA etc).
• Experience supporting digital transformation and cloud migration programmes.

On offer:

• £90,000 - £100,000 plus bonus
• Hybrid: London 1-2 days / week in office
