Process Analyst
Process Analyst (Data Quality & Process Mapping) – London – Banking – Hybrid
An experienced Process Analyst is required by a growing specialist bank to play a critical role in the bank’s enterprise data quality transformation.
This role will use facets of business analysis, process engineering, and data governance disciplines. Following a major centralisation of data into GCP, you will be responsible for mapping end-to-end business processes to ensure the bank operates with trusted, well-governed data.
You will be the bridge between business SMEs, technology teams, and data owners, translating operational processes into structured BPMN models.
Essential experience:
- Proven experience in business process analysis or process engineering within financial services, ideally banking
- Working with the business to identify and define Critical Data Elements (CDE) within mapped processes
- Strong proficiency in process mapping tools.
- Data Literacy: Experience developing detailed data element mapping, data dictionaries, or metadata specifications.
- A good understanding of data governance concepts including data quality, data definitions, data lineage, ownership, and controls.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience with lending and deposits processes in a bank.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of regulatory drivers such as PRA and FCA expectations around data management.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in the London office) for an analytical and structured professional who is comfortable working in environments undergoing change and transformation.
