Role Overview
We are seeking an outcome-focused Conversion Product Owner to drive and optimise conversion across a digital customer journey in a fast-paced, product-led environment. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of conversion optimisation, leading a cross-functional squad of engineers and designers to improve funnel performance and customer outcomes.
This role is high impact and data-driven, requiring deep curiosity about user behaviour and a strong bias toward experimentation and measurable results. You will shape how experimentation, product development, and data insights drive continuous improvement and growth.
Mission
You will take ownership of conversion performance across the core customer journey—from first interaction through to completion of the purchase/application process. Working end-to-end, you will:
- Define and own conversion goals and strategies to improve customer outcomes.
- Lead a dedicated product squad, collaborating day-to-day with engineering and design.
- Use experimentation and data-driven insight to prioritise and validate improvements.
- Ship high-impact features and UX enhancements that improve completion rates and customer confidence.
- Explore AI and automation opportunities to personalise experiences and reduce friction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product changes with commercial, operational, and customer objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own conversion metrics and drive sustained improvements across the funnel.
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate experiments to validate hypotheses.
- Use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform product decisions.
- Deliver product features and journey enhancements with measurable impact.
- Apply AI-driven capabilities where appropriate to optimise customer journeys.
- Partner with stakeholders across teams to ensure alignment and impact.
Required Experience
- Proven product ownership experience in a conversion-focused or funnel-driven role.
- Track record of improving conversion through experimentation and product iteration.
- Strong analytical capability - comfortable working with data and metrics.
- Hands-on experience running experiments and applying insights to product decisions.
- Familiarity with AI-driven product capabilities and their potential applications.
- Ownership mindset with a bias toward action and delivering results.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or consumer product environments.
- Knowledge of car finance or customer acquisition funnels.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI systems or automation initiatives.
