Senior Business Analyst – Insurance

3 days a week in Manchester.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a growing IT & Change team, supporting the delivery of business-critical projects and system enhancements within a commercial insurance environment.

This person will be the conduit between the development team and the business and needs to be able to speak to the developers and engineers.

Key responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Act as the link between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Create user stories, functional specifications and process documentation.
• Support Agile delivery, testing and UAT activities.
• Identify process improvements and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years' Business Analysis experience within the insurance sector
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of UAT, functional testing, SQL and APIs (Postman).
• Insurance industry experience preferred, particularly commercial insurance.
