Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to drive innovation and technical excellence across the full software development lifecycle. This is a key leadership role where you will shape architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.

You’ll work across a modern tech stack, leveraging your expertise in full-stack development, cloud platforms, and distributed systems. Beyond hands-on development, you will play a critical role in guiding best practices, influencing technical decisions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack applications
• Architect robust, maintainable solutions using modern design patterns and best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver high-impact features
• Facilitate and contribute to Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
• Mentor and coach engineers, promoting high standards of code quality and craftsmanship
• Drive technical decision-making, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Oversee and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment strategies
• Define and champion testing strategies, including unit and integration testing
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimise system performance
• Maintain strong version control practices, including code reviews and branching strategies
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience building full-stack web applications using TypeScript/React and C#/.NET (or similar technologies)
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, including modular architecture and design patterns
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience architecting end-to-end systems across frontend, backend, and data layers
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and complex integrations
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment patterns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Solid understanding of database design (relational and NoSQL)
• Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to engineering best practices
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools is a plus
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
