Salary up to £45K + Uncapped Commission

A fast-growing B2B media and events business is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate commercial growth. Operating across several high-growth technology verticals, this company runs flagship conferences, festivals, and hosted buyer programmes that have established themselves as must-attend events in their space.

What You'll Be Selling

First and foremost, you will be tasked to sell sponsorship opportunities to clients for b2b events. Alongside the sponsorship packages, you have the opportunity to pitch multi-touchpoint campaigns that combine event sponsorships, hosted buyer meetings, digital marketing packages, content, and thought leadership. You'll be building bespoke solutions that genuinely move the needle for clients.

What You'll Be Doing

Owning the full new business cycle - from cold outreach to close. You'll build a pipeline across tech vendors, financial institutions, etc targeting senior decision-makers (CMOs, CROs, Heads of Partnerships and beyond). Expect a mix of LinkedIn, email, phone, and smart sequencing - with room to experiment and sharpen what works.

You'll also become a genuine market expert advising clients, not just selling at them.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years in B2B sales, Business Development, or partnerships in b2b events, conferences or media.
  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets through new business
  • Experience selling integrated or multi-product solutions is advantageous
  • Strong outbound instincts - you know how to get in the room
  • Confidence with senior stakeholders and sharp commercial negotiation skills
  • A desire to work as a business development manager, selling high-level sponsorship opportunities at b2b events.
