IFS Transformation Consultant

Overview
We are supporting a UK-wide services organisation with a key operational division headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne. The business is undertaking a short-term transformation initiative focused on improving operational processes, back-office systems, and the effective use of its IFS platform.

They are seeking an experienced IFS Transformation Consultant to assess current ways of working, identify process inefficiencies, and implement practical improvements. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders across the business to diagnose issues, analyse data, and deliver standardised, more efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and diagnose existing operational and back-office processes.
  • Map current processes and document variations across teams or functions.
  • Analyse operational and system data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and validate findings.
  • Recommend and design standardised processes aligned with best practice.
  • Implement agreed improvements within the IFS system and wider operational workflows.
  • Produce clear documentation of current and future-state processes.

Key Experience

  • Proven experience delivering process improvement or transformation projects.
  • Strong experience working with IFS or other large ERP systems.
  • Skilled in process mapping, process diagnosis, and operational analysis.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and translating analysis into practical solutions.

This is a hands-on consulting role suited to someone who can quickly assess business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver tangible operational changes within a defined project timeframe.
