IT Technician
Role Overview
IT Technician responsible for maintaining a secure, stable technology environment across multiple sites.
Requirements: Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- 1st & 2nd Line Support: Provide fast, high-quality technical support and own issues to resolution.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage Exchange, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
- Hardware & Security: Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, ensuring secure Windows 11 environments.
- IT Projects: Support digital improvement work, new technology rollouts, and process automation.
- Documentation: Maintain clear technical and user-focused guides.
Essential Skills
- Experience in a 1st/2nd line support or IT Technician role.
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills.
- Proficiency with Windows 11 deployment, troubleshooting, and hardware support.
- Clear, confident communication with users at all levels.
- Logical problem-solving and commitment to service excellence.
Desirable
- IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365, CompTIA).
- Basic networking knowledge (routers, firewalls, access points).
- Experience in care, charity, or similar environments.
- Experience with mobile/MDM management (e.g., Intune).
