Location: Dorking

Full-Time (39 hours per week) Monday – Friday, 7.30am-4pm

Salary: Up to £37,000

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Improvement Officer on behalf of a well-established organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about digital transformation and process improvement to play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency.

About the Role

You will be responsible for driving digital change across the operations function, identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual workloads through tailored digital solutions. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will deliver projects from concept through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities of Digital Improvement Officer

  • Design, build, and maintain workflows using Microsoft Power Automate
  • Identify and implement digital improvement opportunities across operations
  • Lead small-to-medium digital projects from concept to deployment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives with digital tools
  • Provide user training and support on developed systems
  • Ensure solutions comply with ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001)
  • Contribute to the company’s digital roadmap and strategy
  • Present project updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint (site administration/development)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Basic project management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Power BI and Power Apps
  • Background in manufacturing, municipal, or automotive environments
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of data structures and data modelling
  • Six Sigma or other Lean certifications
