Finance Systems Analyst

Finance Systems Analyst up to £60k depending on experience 4 days a week in the office Previous experience as a systems accountant / analyst required I am recruiting for an experienced systems Accountant / analyst that has previously worked within an established finance team, to join a Global Hospitality business in London. You will support a broad range of activities across the central finance team, contributing to financial reporting, systems management, and process improvement initiatives.Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and analysing consolidated financial results across multiple operating entities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including consolidation activities and preparation of management summaries.
• Assisting with group-level budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes through maintenance of financial models, reporting templates, and system inputs.
• Managing and maintaining finance systems (including ERP, consolidation, and reporting tools), ensuring data integrity, appropriate user access, and alignment with internal controls.
• Coordinating system updates, configuration changes, testing cycles, and enhancement initiatives to ensure systems remain reliable and fit for purpose.
• Overseeing finance master data (such as chart of accounts, hierarchies, and mapping structures) to maintain consistency and accuracy across entities.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes in collaboration with operational finance teams.
• Acting as a point of contact for system-related queries, resolving issues or escalating to IT and external providers where necessary.
• Delivering training and guidance to finance users to improve system utilisation and capability.
• Supporting internal and external audit processes by providing documentation, system walkthroughs, and control evidence.

Candidate Specification:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (or equivalent finance certification), with approximately 3 to five years of experience within finance
• Strong technical aptitude across financial systems and reporting tools, including:
• Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or similar finance platforms.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or performance management tools.
• Working knowledge of databases, system integrations, and structured data environments.
• Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualisation platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet modelling and data analysis.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional European language capability would be beneficial.
• Prior experience within a multi-entity or operationally driven environment is advantageous, particularly where financial reporting cycles and performance metrics vary across locations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work to deadlines, and deliver high-quality outputs in a structured and organised manner.
