JAM Management Consultancy is delighted to be supporting our client in the appointment of an experienced and commercially driven Global Sales Director.
Our client is an award-winning technology organisation with a global customer base and a strong reputation for innovation. As part of their continued growth strategy, they are seeking a senior sales leader to lead and develop their international sales function, drive revenue growth, and strengthen strategic customer relationships across multiple markets.
This is a significant leadership opportunity for an individual with a proven track record within SaaS, Cloud, UcaaS, Software, AI, Technology or related sectors.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a global sales strategy, leading an international sales organisation, and ensuring ambitious growth objectives are achieved.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, supporting strategic customer acquisition, and ensuring sales opportunities are effectively progressed from lead through to close.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales Leadership• Develop and execute a global sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify market opportunities, emerging trends and areas for commercial growth.
• Contribute to wider go-to-market and commercial strategies.
• Develop compelling customer propositions and value-based sales approaches.
• Lead the global sales organisation to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.
Revenue & Sales Performance• Deliver against revenue, sales and growth targets across international markets.
• Oversee forecasting, pipeline management and opportunity progression.
• Support the successful delivery of bids, tenders and strategic proposals.
• Personally engage in executive-level sales opportunities where appropriate.
• Ensure accurate reporting and sales performance measurement.
Customer & Partner Relationships• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders.
• Develop strategic relationships across target industries and markets.
• Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and executive forums.
• Support customer retention and long-term account growth initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing international sales team.
• Create a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Drive high levels of engagement, performance and professionalism.
Continuous Improvement• Ensure appropriate systems, resources and processes support commercial success.
• Use data and market intelligence to improve sales effectiveness.
• Champion best practice sharing and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
About You• Degree educated or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant experience within SaaS, Cloud, Software, AI, Enterprise Technology or related sectors.
• Proven success as a Sales Director, VP Sales, Commercial Director, Head of Sales or similar senior leadership position.
• Demonstrable track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
• Strong experience managing complex enterprise sales opportunities and strategic accounts.
• Experience working with both direct and channel sales models.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching and people development capabilities.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.
• Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience operating within a fast-paced, growth-focused international environment.
