The Opportunity
We’re working with a growing UK financial services organisation that is looking to add an Application Support Specialist to its IT Service Delivery team. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative environment where technology plays a key role in supporting business operations and customer services.
You’ll work closely with the Application Support Lead and the wider IT team to ensure business-critical applications run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
The Role
As an Application Support Analyst, you will act as a key point of contact for application related queries and incidents, supporting internal teams across the organisation. You’ll investigate and resolve issues, manage support tickets, and help maintain documentation to improve application support processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve issues across supported applications
- Manage and respond to support tickets, ensuring requests are handled efficiently
- Work closely with internal teams to understand issues and deliver solutions
- Create and maintain documentation to support application understanding and issue resolution
- Provide day to day support to colleagues using internal applications
- Assist with troubleshooting, analysis, and ongoing improvements to systems and processes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in an Application Support or IT Support role
- Understanding of requirements gathering and management
- Exposure to programming or software development
- Experience working with data management or databases
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to think critically and solve technical problems
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
Working Pattern
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working model
