Im partnering with a fantastic client in Staffordshire who are going through a huge technology transformation and growing their teams across the board. Theyre looking for a Back-End Software Engineer whos eager to develop, grow, and make a real impact in a modernising environment.

This is a brilliant opportunity if youve got some commercial experience under your belt (2+ years), and you want to push your skills further with structured training and exposure to new technologies.

What youll be doing:

• Working as part of an ambitious development team to deliver software solutions that are at the heart of the clients business transformation.
• Designing and developing back-end services and applications, with the chance to influence technical decisions.
• Developing desktop applications (your experience here will be invaluable).
• Collaborating across the team on microservices, integration, and future-proofing systems.

Tech environment (not all essential!):

• C# / .NET- essential
• SQL Server- essential
• Desktop experience (huge plus, particularly with WPF)
• Exposure/interest in Kafka, event-driven development, and microservices
• Desire to learn new programming languages and frameworks

• 1+ years experience in software development (commercial).
