Full Stack Engineer
Full-Stack Engineer (Mid-Level)
£50,000–£55,000
London (Mayfair area) – Hybrid, 4 days in office initially
I'm exclusively working with a rapidly growing, design-led startup who is searching for a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join its expanding technical team. This is an opportunity to work closely with an established founding team on a greenfield platform that will become the operational backbone of a well-known luxury brand. The product is early, the roadmap is ambitious, and your contribution will have a direct and visible impact from day one.
The company is building a bespoke internal ERP-style system to support complex production, inventory, and workflow operations. As a mid-level engineer, you will collaborate with the founder and front-end developer to design and implement new features, develop API routes, structure databases, and shape the technical direction of a modern, high-quality product.
The environment is fast-paced, hands-on, and ideal for someone who wants to grow quickly in a startup setting.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain full-stack features using Node.js, React, and TypeScript
• Design and implement API routes and backend logic
• Work with relational databases; Prisma experience is a plus
• Collaborate with the frontend developer to deliver robust, user-focused features
• Contribute to system architecture and data modelling
• Support integrations with internal modules and third-party services
• Participate in code reviews and promote good engineering practices
• (Preferred) Contribute to mobile-related features or prototypes
Requirements
• 3–4 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript (TypeScript expertise expected if JavaScript is your background)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and relational databases
• Experience with ORMs; Prisma familiarity is advantageous
• Interest in product-focused development and solving real operational problems
• Comfortable working closely with a small, collaborative team
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
What’s on Offer
• £50,000–£55,000 salary
• Hybrid working: four days per week in the Mayfair area initially, moving to two to three days later
• A pivotal role in the early stages of an exciting product build
• The chance to influence technical decisions and shape the platform’s evolution
• A creative, high-quality environment with the pace and energy of a startup
