The Role

This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for shaping and delivering the end-to-end lifecycle growth strategy.

The Growth Director will drive activation, engagement, retention, and multi-product adoption, using sophisticated CRM journeys, deep customer insight, and rigorous experimentation. They will operate as a player–coach, leading a high-performing team while remaining hands-on in execution.

Working closely with Product, Data, Finance, and Compliance, this role sits at the intersection of commercial growth and customer experience within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the lifecycle growth strategy, focused on increasing long-term customer value
  • Design and optimise multi-channel CRM journeys across multiple products and customer segments
  • Lead segmentation, targeting, and personalisation, including propensity-led decisioning
  • Identify and prioritise high-impact growth opportunities, including cross-sell and adoption strategies
  • Build and embed a strong test-and-learn culture, driving continuous optimisation through experimentation
  • Translate data into clear commercial insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a high-performing growth team, setting standards across analytical depth and delivery
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver initiatives in line with regulatory and compliance requirements

About You

  • Proven experience owning CRM and lifecycle growth within a digital, multi-product environment
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset, able to turn insight into measurable business impact
  • Deep understanding of customer value drivers, including retention, LTV, and cohort performance
  • Hands-on experience with segmentation, personalisation, and decisioning frameworks
  • Comfortable operating as a player–coach, balancing strategy with execution
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across a matrix organisation
  • Experience in regulated environments is beneficial, but not essential, candidates from eCommerce, fintech, telco, or subscription businesses are encouraged
