We’re supporting an organisation in hiring an Information Security Engineer to play a key role in securing enterprise systems, applications, and cloud infrastructure.

This is a hands-on, project-focused role where you’ll embed security into solutions from day one, working closely with IT, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure security is built in, not bolted on. You’ll act as a trusted security partner across projects, helping design, implement, and govern secure solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and reviewing security architectures for new systems and projects.
• Embedding security requirements into project delivery, from planning through to implementation.
• Conducting threat modelling, risk assessments, and security design reviews.
• Developing and enforcing security standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Providing expertise across Azure security, identity, access control, and cloud-native environments.
• Supporting business continuity, incident response, and security monitoring capabilities.
• Acting as a key advisor to project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in information security engineering or architecture (5+ years).
• Deep understanding of Microsoft technologies (Azure, AD, O365) and cloud security principles.
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g. Microsoft Sentinel) and security tooling.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Experience with threat modelling, DevSecOps, and secure SDLC practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams.
