Post-Award Specialist

We are currently working in partnership with a university based in Southwest London, who are recruiting for a Post-Award Specialist on a temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately and will carry through until December 2026. The daily rate of pay is circa £170 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have used the Agresso system previously, have extensive and recent post-award experience and be available to start the week commencing 17th August.

• Manage the post-award administration of research grants, ensuring compliance with funder regulations, reporting requirements, and organisational policies
• Maintain grant finances using Agresso (Unit4 ERP), including processing transactions, monitoring budgets, reconciling accounts, and producing financial reports
• Prioritise a varied workload, managing multiple deadlines while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of work
• Resolve queries and financial issues proactively, escalating where appropriate and contributing to process improvements
• Provide clear financial advice and support to academics, project teams, finance colleagues, and external funding bodies, building effective working relationships

Experience required:

• Experience using Agresso system

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Highly organized
• Used to working in a high-pressure environment
• Handy with IT systems

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
