People Partner - Transformation

We are partnering with a major, market‐leading organisation undergoing significant organisational development and operating model change. As part of this evolution, we are recruiting an AI People Business Partner on a 2‐year fixed‐term contract to support the business through large‐scale transformation.

While the organisation is introducing new AI‐enabled ways of working, the core focus of this role is on organisation design, workforce planning and capability development. You’ll play a key part in ensuring teams are structured, skilled and supported as the business adopts new tools, processes and technologies. This is about helping people and leaders understand, adapt to and embed AI‐driven improvements in a way that strengthens culture, capability and long‐term performance.

This is a full‐time role offering a salary of c£75,000, depending on experience. The start date will align with your notice period.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Partnering with senior leaders to shape and deliver AI‐driven transformation across the organisation
  • Translating AI and automation programmes into practical people outcomes, ensuring teams are structured and supported for future ways of working
  • Leading organisation design activity, including role evolution, team structures and capability requirements
  • Driving workforce planning, skills mapping and future‐capability development to build AI‐ready teams
  • Working closely with Learning, Leadership and Change specialists to enable adoption of new technologies and behaviours
  • Leading and supporting change initiatives to build engagement, readiness and sustainable adoption across the business
  • Providing strategic People Partnering support, offering insight, challenge and guidance throughout the transformation
  • Operating as a trusted advisor, balancing commercial priorities with people‐centred decision‐making

Experience required:

  • Proven experience as a People Business Partner, with a strong track record of supporting organisational change and transformation
  • Deep understanding of organisation design, including role evolution, structural redesign and aligning teams to new operating models
  • Hands‐on experience in workforce planning, capability mapping and building future‐ready skills frameworks
  • Background in supporting technology‐enabled or digital transformation, ideally within complex or evolving environments
  • Commercial and pragmatic approach, able to balance people considerations with business priorities
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, with the confidence to influence, challenge and guide senior stakeholders
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience), demonstrating strong professional foundations in HR practice

Working hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm
