Internal Sales Executive
Salary: £23,250 per annum + 2.5% commission on gross sales
We are currently working in partnership with a technology company who are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is an entry-level sales role with full training and support provided. It is well suited to someone looking to build a career in sales, with strong prospects for progression and salary advancement.
The role is based on a 35-hour week.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Researching target prospects to understand their business requirements and needs
- Identifying the most appropriate sales approach for each prospect
- Locating the key decision maker within target organisations
- Contacting decision makers, presenting the client’s product offering and securing a positive next action
- Adding contact organisations to the CRM system with all relevant information
- Scheduling follow-up contacts and actions
- Preparing progress reports for the Sales Management team on contacts made
Experience required:
- No prior sales experience required — full training will be provided
- Any background in a customer-facing or communication-focused role would be advantageous
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Numerate with strong attention to detail
- Inquisitive mindset with a willingness to learn
- Competitive drive and determination to succeed
- Ability to work effectively within a small, close-knit team
