  • Leading incident response, disaster recovery planning, and BCP/DR testing
  • Establishing KPIs and SLAs for platform availability, security, and uptime
  • Leading security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability management alongside the Cyber Security team
  • Mentoring senior technical leads and supporting their professional growth
  • Translating business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions
  • Evaluating emerging tools and technologies to drive efficiency and scalability

What we're looking for

  • Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch, EKS) and Microsoft Azure
  • Proven experience managing and delivering in multi-cloud environments
  • Strong CI/CD and GitOps experience (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform)
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Amazon Linux)
  • Solid understanding of containerisation, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with middleware technologies including AWS SQS/SNS and API Gateway
  • Scripting ability in Bash and/or Python
  • A track record of leading technical teams and delivering clear direction
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging technical and non-technical audiences
