Associate Lawyer
Tech & Media Regulatory Associate (4+ PQE) – London
The rapid evolution of digital platforms continues to reshape the regulatory landscape. An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented associate to join the highly regarded Tech & Media practice of a major international firm in London, advising some of the world’s most innovative online businesses as they navigate complex and fast-moving regulatory environments.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of matters affecting global technology, social media, gaming and ecommerce platforms. You will advise on issues spanning consumer law, digital regulation, advertising rules and online safety, working closely with clients to translate emerging regulation into practical, risk-based guidance. The work often involves coordinating advice across multiple jurisdictions and collaborating with colleagues on regulatory investigations and enforcement matters.
Alongside regulatory advisory work, the role includes product counselling for new launches, drafting consumer-facing policies and terms, and supporting clients in responding to regulatory scrutiny. You will also play a part in supervising junior lawyers and contributing to thought leadership in this fast-developing sector.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Solid experience in consumer, digital, advertising or online safety regulation gained in a leading law firm or relevant in-house environment;
- A strong technical foundation combined with the ability to deliver clear, commercially focused advice to sophisticated clients;
- Experience managing matters independently while collaborating with partners on larger or more complex projects;
- Confidence working directly with clients and coordinating advice across multiple jurisdictions; and
- The organisational skills to manage several workstreams in a dynamic and evolving regulatory landscape.
This is an excellent opportunity for a regulatory lawyer keen to deepen their involvement in the technology sector while working alongside recognised specialists on cutting-edge matters.
