Senior Travel Agent

Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable senior travel consultant (Travel Agent) for our agency to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional travel experiences for our clients by crafting personalised itineraries that cater to their unique preferences and needs. Your expertise in hospitality and hotel services will be invaluable as you guide clients through their travel planning process, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
• Research and recommend suitable destinations, accommodations, and activities based on client interests.
• Create customised travel itineraries that include flights, hotels, transportation, and excursions.
• Provide expert advice on travel regulations, visa requirements, and health advisories.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, popular destinations, and emerging travel experiences.
• Handle bookings for flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services using various booking systems.
• Address any client inquiries or issues promptly and professionally throughout the travel experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a travel consultancy or hospitality role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and customer service excellence.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in using computer systems for booking and itinerary management.
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in bookings and itineraries.
• A passion for travel and a desire to share that enthusiasm with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Languages: must be able to speak fluent Pashto, Dari, Farsi, Urdu, Hindi and English.
• Galileo certificates and must have used Galileo smart point for travel tickets booking & IATA certificate is must.

• A positive and polite attitude with exceptional attention to detail.To have travelled extensively, lived or worked in your specialist destination
• Confident and effective communication skills.
• To be a good listener.
• Determination, resilience, and a genuine passion for travel.
• Strong IT and tech skills.
• Language Skills e.g. Pashto, Dari, Farsi, Hindi and English.
• Experience in creating itineraries and selling holidays to Africa, Asia, or Latin America.
• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Monday - Saturday.

Pay: 30,000.00 - 33,000.00 per year
