Data Engineer - London - Flexible travel to the office - Retail

Role & Responsibilities

• As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient databases to support the functionality and performance of their internal enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with their development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal database performance.

  You will help lead data strategy; aligned with organisational objectives, including data governance, data architecture, data quality management, and data integration initiatives.

  Lead the ongoing development and support for data warehouse, customer data platform (CDP), and associated data pipelines using Matillion and Snowflake.

  You will gather requirements from the Business Intelligence team and translate them into technical specifications that can be implemented by the software development team. This includes software requirements for data maintenance, and dashboard requirements for displaying of insights to relevant users.
