Exciting opportunity for a talented 2 Line Infrastructure Support to join a dynamic team.
This role will be within the Infrastructure Team and will require hardware, software and network activities to keep PCs, Servers, and Networks running smoothly.
This job will involve the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware – as well as remotely supporting offices in India and Morocco, as needed. It may, at times, require light manual work in moving hardware within the office and/or laying network cable. In addition, there will be various other hardware and network tasks that arise from time to time, given that as a small business there is an expectation that staff be willing to “help out” with things that are not part of the formal job description.
The ideal candidate for this position must possess at least certification in CISCO networks or equivalent. He or she must also have at least one to two years of experience with CISCO Networks and Servers and 2025 as well as deployment tools.
Your key role will be to maintain computers, servers and network devices, keep up to date on new best practices and technical advances or techniques on a continuing basis.
Key Responsibilities of the 2 Line Infrastructure Support:
- Maintaining computers, servers and networks.
- Responding to internal senior staff needs.
- Responding to all staff support tickets, phone calls, and emails.
- IT support tasks.
- Project-based weekend work for performing system upgrades.
- Perform the job role in compliance with security objectives as defined in policies and procedures.
- Any other tasks as may be reasonably required.
Skills & Experience:
- CISCO Networks (switches and firewalls)
- Server
- Working knowledge of WSUS, AD and deployment tools (SCCM) experience
- Use of Incident Management Systems such as Fresh Service
- A lateral thinker and planner, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to create and maintain records and documentation with appropriate detail.
- Will require the skills of a detail oriented, well-organised, self-motivated, problem solver who can also work independently.
- Self-learning, sharing knowledge and ideas, with an engaging mindset.
- Will enjoy working in a department growing, fast paced, dynamic, creative organization.
- Will show initiative and good judgment with the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice and concentrate in an environment of multiple demands
