The Role:

As Marketing Director, you will be the driving force behind their marketing strategy, with a focus on audience development for key industry conferences. This is a unique opportunity for a leader who is equally comfortable creating high-level strategy as they are executing campaigns. You will own the end-to-end audience acquisition for all conferences, leveraging your expertise in email marketing and LinkedIn promotion to generate leads and drive attendance.

They need a proactive, results-oriented individual with a strong background in the data centre, cloud, or a related technology industry.

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Director:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive business growth.
  • Owning and executing the full audience development strategy for conferences, from persona creation to targeted campaigns.
  • Taking a hands-on approach to designing and executing email marketing campaigns, from list segmentation to performance analysis.
  • Managing and growing LinkedIn presence through compelling organic content and effective paid advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborating closely with sales, content, and events teams to ensure marketing efforts are fully aligned with business objectives.
  • Managing the marketing budget and tracking key performance metrics to maximise ROI.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven, hands-on experience in both organic and paid email marketing and LinkedIn promotion.
  • Exceptional ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies.
  • A strong track record of developing and executing audience acquisition strategies for B2B events or conferences.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • A salary of £55,000 to £80,000 per annum depending on experience £3,000 year-end bonus
