We are partnering with a business specialising in Collaborative Robot (Cobot) Solutions for the manufacturing industry. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team and drive the delivery of innovative projects that enhance efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of mechatronics engineers to deliver successful engineering projects.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle: planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and software) to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Implement best practices, processes, and standards to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Conduct performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and create development plans for team members.
• Stay current with industry trends and integrate new technologies into engineering practices.
• Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting to optimise team and project performance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects successfully.
• Expertise in Collaborative Robot (Cobot) solutions and industrial automation.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, and software development, including 3D CAD tools and programming languages.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on high-quality outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all organisational levels.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools is advantageous.
