Robotics Engineer

We're seeking a Robotics Engineer to join a leading UK-based automation solutions provider, known for delivering cutting-edge robotic systems across sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and general manufacturing.

The Role

As a Robotics Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design, build, programming, and integration of advanced robotic systems. Working as part of a dynamic engineering team, you'll help deliver bespoke and standard automation projects, from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program and configure industrial robots (e.g., KUKA, ABB, Fanuc) for welding, handling, and assembly applications
  • Support system integration, including mechanical setup, electrical I/O configuration, and safety validation
  • Carry out on-site commissioning and testing of robotic automation cells
  • Collaborate with design, electrical, and software teams to deliver high-quality turnkey solutions
  • Provide technical support and training to customers post-installation
  • Assist with R&D, prototyping, and continuous improvement of automation products
About You:
  • Proven experience with industrial robotics (ideally KUKA, ABB, or Fanuc)
  • Strong understanding of PLC systems, motion control, and safety systems
  • Comfortable reading technical drawings and integrating robotic systems into manufacturing processes
  • Able to travel occasionally for site commissioning (UK & internationally)
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, and eager to work in a fast-paced automation environment
