Our Director, AI Asset Management, is an experienced investment professional with a proven record of innovation in academia and industry. You lead the research agenda designed to bridge the gap between investment teams and AI capabilities.Position Responsibilities: Deliver production AI/ML tools to investment teams across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and multi-asset strategiesBuild reusable Python SDKs and libraries connecting investment datasets to AI/ML pipelines on Azure/DatabricksTranslate investment research questions into quantifiable, testable hypothesesContribute domain-informed enhancements to DORA and our agentic AI platformsAdopt and support MLOps processes (CI/CD, experiment tracking, model monitoring) established by the platform teamPublish and present internal research that influences investment decisionsRequired Qualifications: Investment Expertise5+ years buyside or sellside experience across multiple asset classesDeep knowledge of at least 2 asset classes: equities (fundamental and systematic), fixed income (IG credit, HY, rates, mortgages, structured), derivatives (options, swaps, futures — pricing, greeks, hedging), or multi-asset portfolio constructionCFA charter or progress strongly preferredUnderstanding of security characteristics, corporate actions, risk attribution, and the full investment lifecycleQuantitative Research & DevelopmentPhD or MS in a quantitative field (computational finance, statistics, mathematics, physics, CS, or related)Hands-on Python development — ships production code, not just notebooksExperience with statistical modeling: time series forecasting, generative models, adversarial ML, or factor modelsFamiliarity with financial datasets: Bloomberg, FactSet, MSCI, alternative data sourcesUnderstanding of data quality, survivorship bias, point-in-time data requirementsAI/ML & TechnologyExperience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and prompt engineeringFamiliarity with agentic frameworks (LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, MCP)Proficient user of cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks) and CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions)Modern Python tooling: uv, ruff, pytestOpen-source contributions a strong plus (e.g., DeltaPy, AtsPy, DataGene, MTSS-GAN)When you join our team: arn and grow the career you want.
