Chief Information Officer

Salary: £110,000 – £120,000 Location: UK (Hybrid)

An established, large-scale organisation is looking to appoint a Chief Information Officer to take overall ownership of its IT strategy, technology roadmap, and operational delivery.

This is a senior leadership role, sitting close to the board, where you will be responsible for ensuring that technology enables the business to operate efficiently, securely, and at scale. You’ll inherit a mature IT function, but with clear opportunity to modernise systems, improve resilience, and support ongoing transformation initiatives across multiple sites.

You will have responsibility for enterprise infrastructure, applications, cyber security, and third-party suppliers, alongside ownership of budgets and senior stakeholder relationships. Just as important as your technical credibility will be your ability to communicate clearly with non-technical leaders and influence at board level.

This role would suit an experienced CIO or IT Director who has operated in complex, regulated, or multi-national environments and who is comfortable balancing strategy with operational accountability.
