UI Developer

As a UI Developer, you'll develop robust, scalable User Interface software solutions that present data clearly and meaningfully to both internal and external users for our web platforms.

This is a hybrid position in Capenhurst, near Chester, requiring you to be on-site 1 day per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Build tools and visualizations including dashboards, alerts and user insights
  • Lead by example, offering technical mentoring to less experienced developers
  • Participate in Agile development practices (sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Ensure software adheres to coding and quality standards through peer code reviews
  • Contribute to deployment and orchestration including containerization in Kubernetes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent experience
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and React
  • Ability to design intuitive, performant and secure user interfaces
  • Familiarity with source control systems and release processes
  • Good understanding of modern frontend architecture and component-driven design
  • Strong grasp of UI/UX principles in data-driven environments
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) and data handling
  • Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Employment Conditions:

  • £50,000 per annum with flexibility DOE

Selection Process:

Step 1: Video Introduction
