Role: Senior Python Developer

Location: Remote

Role Overview:

We are hiring a Senior Python Developer to own the backend services

and data pipelines that power Joveo's AI-driven hiring platform at scale.

You will make the architectural decisions, set the code quality bar,

and mentor the Python engineers on your team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and build production Python services handling high-throughput workloads

- Lead design reviews and define engineering standards for Python codebases

- Own end-to-end delivery of complex backend initiatives across multiple sprints

- Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance

- Drive technical debt reduction and long-term platform health initiatives

- Collaborate with ML and data teams to productionize AI-powered features

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Extensive experience building production Python systems at scale

- Deep expertise with modern Python frameworks — FastAPI, Django, or Flask

- Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, and query performance

- Experience with distributed systems, async processing, and message queues

- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and raising team code quality

- Comfort with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and containerized deployments
