Role: TypeScript Developer

Location: Remote

Role Overview:

We are hiring a TypeScript Developer to build type-safe, maintainable

applications that run at the core of Joveo's web platform. You will work

across frontend and backend TypeScript codebases — enforcing quality through

strong typing, rigorous testing, and clean architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain TypeScript-first web applications and services

- Define and enforce strict type systems, interfaces, and domain models

- Build reusable component libraries and shared TypeScript utilities

- Collaborate with backend teams to align on API contracts and schemas

- Write automated tests and maintain coverage across TypeScript modules

- Review code and mentor teammates on TypeScript best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript including generics, utility types, and type guards

- Experience with React, Next.js, or similar TypeScript-compatible frameworks

- Familiarity with Node.js / Express or NestJS for server-side TypeScript

- Understanding of module bundlers, TSConfig optimization, and build tooling

- Experience with testing tools (Jest, Vitest, or Playwright)

- Attention to type correctness and aversion to `any`
