Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected education-focused organisation in their search for a Data Specialist to join their busy and collaborative team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented data professional who enjoys problem-solving, system improvement, stakeholder engagement, and supporting colleagues through effective use of business-critical systems. Working within a fast-paced environment, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, efficiency and continuous development of learner and apprenticeship data systems.

The Role

As Data Specialist, you will act as the key link between technical teams and system users, ensuring data systems are operating effectively and supporting business objectives. You will provide expert system support, identify opportunities for improvement, deliver training, and help drive process efficiencies across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support, maintenance and administration of learner and apprenticeship data systems.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for system queries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Delivering training sessions and producing user guidance materials.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into practical system solutions.
  • Working closely with technical teams and software providers to resolve system issues.
  • Supporting reporting functions by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Leading apprenticeship invoicing processes and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
  • Supervising and supporting a junior team member while contributing to wider departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • Previous experience in a systems support, systems administration or data-focused role.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly within Excel.
  • Experience training users and creating supporting documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.

Desirable experience includes:

  • Working with multiple data management systems.
  • Knowledge of funding regulations or compliance-led environments.
  • Experience improving operational processes and implementing system enhancements.
  • Previous supervisory or mentoring experience.

The Package

  • Salary of £31,457 - £33,472
