HR Business Partner - blue chip IT company

Our client, a global blue-chip software solutions and IT services company, is looking for HR Business Partner.

[Purpose of the Job]

HR Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor, collaborating closely with leaders to drive HR initiatives and align them with organisaitonal goals. This role is pivotal in addressing key areas such as Talent management, Performance management, and Employee engagement, while leveraging data to inform decision-making and drive meaningful change across the business.

[Key Accountabilities]

(1) Strategic Business Partner

- Develop deep understanding of the organisation, its strategy, key customers and people challenges

- Work closely with business leaders to identify their needs and deliver effective HR strategies and initiatives

- Utilise data, metrics, evidence for decision making and implement meaningful changes

Suggest new HR strategies to enhance organisational performance and employee engagement

(2) Talent Management

- Oversee the company’s recruitment process, including updating procedures and policies regularly to identify and retain high-potential employees

- Advise managers on strategies to meet their recruitment needs effectively.

- Manage and optimise various recruitment channels to attract top talent.

- Conduct Comprehensive interviews to assess candidate suitability.

- Provide coverage for the HR coordinator when unavailable.

(3) Performance Management

- Lead the bi-yearly goal-setting and evaluation process across all branches.

- Implement and manage the appraisal process using Workday.

- Facilitate communication between employees and managers throughout the process.

- Support managers in conducting effective performance reviews and recognising employee achievements.

- Calculate bonuses based on company and individual evaluation results and collaborate with the payroll administrator to ensure accurate data delivery.

- Identify low performers and implement Performance Management Plan to support employee’s improvement

(4) UK Logistics Support

- Provide HR and general management support for UK Logistics operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and UK legislation

- Lead and manage various Employee Relations matter as required, including grievances, disciplinary and redundancy processes

- Ensure HR Polies are operated in collaboration with UK Logistics HR

(5) General HR Support

- Support employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and redundancy processes

- Step up to manage meetings in the absence of the HR manager, ensuring smooth communication and decision-making.

- Provide ad-hoc support to the Head of Team for any additional HR-related requests as needed.

[Requirements]

(1) 5 years experience of HR Management field

(2) Strong understanding of recruitment, performance management, and HR policies.

(3) Proficiency in Workday and data analysis tools.

(4) Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business or Management field or CIPD preferred

(5) Excellent MS Excel skills

(6) Strategic thinker & analytical and goal oriented & ability to work pro-actively and make proposals for improvements

(7) Ability to prioristise and work under pressure to meet prescribed deadlines, whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy.

(8) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, and with individuals where English is not their first language.

[Conditions]

(1) Job type: full-time & permanent

(2) Job location: Weybridge, Surrey (on-site car park & free shuttle from/to Weybridge rail station)

(3) Hybrid working: 2 days work from home after probation

(4) Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

(5) Salary: base up to 53K(depending on experience) performance based bonus

(6) Benefits: pension(up to 8.5% by employer), life assurance, medical insurance, etc.

(7) Annual leave: 33 (25 holidays 8 bank holidays)
