ICT Apprentice
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic ICT Apprentice to join our team in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT while gaining practical experience and working towards a recognised Level 3 qualification.
Role
- Providing first-line IT support to colleagues
- Setting up and maintaining computers, laptops and other IT equipment
- Supporting users with hardware and software issues
- Installing and configuring software and applications
- Assisting with user accounts, passwords and access permissions
- Troubleshooting technical problems and escalating issues where required
- Supporting the maintenance of IT systems and equipment
- Helping to keep IT records and documentation up to date
- Supporting cyber security and data protection procedures
- Learning about networks, operating systems and cloud-based technologies
