Senior Cloud Network Engineer – GCP
Hiring: Product Engineer – GCP Networking & DevOps
Location: Bristol / Halifax (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a leading enterprise client to hire Product Engineers specialising in Google Cloud Networking to design, deploy, and scale secure, high-performing cloud network platforms.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in building and sustaining enterprise-grade cloud networking solutions across both production and non-production environments:
- Design, implement and optimise GCP networking architectures
- Lead network deployment, scaling, tech refresh & performance optimisation initiatives
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform & Terraform Cloud
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Harness, Jenkins
- Manage incidents & problems to improve platform stability
- Review peer code and contribute to engineering best practices
- Own full lifecycle delivery of networking products and solutions
- Ensure compliance with security and control requirements
Core Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform Networking
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- Python scripting/automation
- Kubernetes
- DevOps tooling: GitHub, Harness, Terraform Cloud, Jenkins, Vault

Experience We’re Looking For
- Solid years of hands-on GCP networking experience in enterprise environments
- Experience across deployment, sustainment, optimisation & scaling
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles & CI/CD
- Incident/problem management exposure
- Collaborative, product-focused engineering mindset
Certifications (Highly desirable)
- Google Professional Network Engineer
- Google Professional Security Engineer
